The Symbolism of the Cherubim
In the Most Excellent Master degree the candidate first encounters the existence of Cherubim. They are again encountered in the Royal Master degree. However, neither degree addresses their symbolic function in the degrees. Other than biblical references in the degrees, why are they there? Further, what are they? Are they angelic in nature or represent some other mystical or heavenly creature? In the next Raising the Keystone, we will explore the nature and symbolism of the Cherubim. A brief reading will be provided prior to the event for those who register.
